Ultra Electronics, TCS Wins EW Naval Range Test and Training Refurbishment System in a GCC Country

JULY 2014, MON 14

July 14, 2014 - Montreal, Canada — Ultra Electronics, TCS is pleased to announce the contract award to refurbish an existing naval Electronic Warfare (EW) test and training range for a prominent GCC country. This is a key win in the region, where Ultra TCS was able to displace the incumbent system provider. Ultra’s strong technical solution, vast knowledge of EW naval range test and training systems and ability to provide an ITAR-free solution were pivotal in the customer’s buying decision.

Jim Rose, Director and GM, EW Systems, Ultra Electronics, TCS, commented: “We are extremely happy to break into this market and I think it truly shows the depth of our EW capabilities. Our team will continue to work very closely with other GCC countries which have similar EW naval test and training needs.”

Ultra Electronic, TCS will be providing replacement equipment for the EW naval test and training range, on-site support for installation, on-site support for set to work and on-site training on both new and existing equipment.
